Dr. Robert Nagourney, MD

Robert Nagourney received a BS in Chemistry from Boston University, summa cum laude with distinction, his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and residency at the University of California, Irvine before completing fellowships in Medical Oncology at Georgetown University and Hematology at the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. He went on to co-found Oncotech; a biotech company located in Irvine and later founded Rational Therapeutics in Long Beach, California. He was Medical Director of the Todd Cancer Institute before he returned to the University of California, Irvine as Associate Clinical Professor. Dr Nagourney has authored over 100 manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters and serves on numerous editorial boards. He is internationally recognized for his work in human phenotypic analysis and serves as Medical and Laboratory Director of The Nagourney Cancer Institute & Rational Therapeutics.  Dr. Nagourney resides in Long Beach, California with his wife and 2 sons.

ismael Dale cotrim da silva, md, phd

Ismael Dale C. G. Silva MD, PhD, received his Medical Degree from Moji das Cruzes School of Medicine in Sao Paulo, Brazil, MS and PhD from UNIFESP and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. As Adjunct Professor at EPM-UNIFESP, Dr. da Silva trained over 60 Masters and PhD candidates. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles. In 2005 he became Associate Professor at UNIFESP and Vice Dean for Research and Development (R&D) from 2009 to 2011, raising over 10 million Euros. Since 2012 he has served as Senior Advisor and Coordinator of Molecular Biology at Fleury Laboratories, one of the largest diagnostic companies in Brazil with over 12.000 employees. Dr da Silva is Senior Researcher at the Barretos Cancer Hospital, the largest in Brazil with 10,000 new cases per year. He has extensive experience in Genomics, Transcriptomics and Proteomics. Dr. da Silva with two international patents in the field (breast cancer and HIV.) is engaged in Metabolomics as his principal area of research. Dr da Silva resides in Sao Paulo, Brazil Silva with his wife and daughter.

Paulo D’Amora, MD, PhD

Paulo D’Amora received a BS in biological sciences and his medical degree from the College of Medicine of the Federal University of São Paulo (EPM-UNIFESP), in São Paulo, Brazil. Completed his Masters (2005) and Ph.D. (2009) in Translational Medicine at the Gynecology Department at EPM-UNIFESP where he is an Affiliate Professor. He has experience in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Metabolomics applied to Gynecological Oncology, and sits on several journal editorial boards. Dr D’Amora is the recipient of a Young Investigator Award for the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP), supporting his work on an international ovarian cancer study in collaboration with the University of California Irvine (UCI), and currently coordinates an international study on COVID-19 in Brazil. He is the Senior Medical Scientist for Rational Therapeutics Inc. and the Nagourney Cancer Institute. 

Steven S Evans, BS, MA

Steve Evans received his BS and Masters degree from California State. University, Long Beach. He then joined Oncotech, Inc before going on to conduct basic research at the Todd Cancer Institute in Long Beach. Steve then joined Rational Therapeutics where he went on to become chief operating officer.

Steve has experience in human tumor tissue culture, flow cytometry, spectrophotometry and mass spectrometry. Steve has published over 70 manuscripts, book chapters and abstracts.  He serves as co-senior scientist and over-sees the operations of the Human Metabolism program at Metabolomycs, Inc.
